והתמחות על ברפואה דחופה, עבר בקינגסטון, קנדה, תת התמחות בהחייאה, וב2010 חזר לארץ. בנוסף לניהול המחלקה לרפואה דחופה הוא חלק מצוות של המרכז לסימולציה רפואית, אחראי על שלב ב ברפואה דחופה ב10 שנים האחרונות. יש לו עניין מיוחד בנושאים: החייאה, ניהול של החולה בספסיס ובמצבים קריטיים בחדר הלם.

Prof. Michael Drescher is a graduate of the Hebrew University-Hadassah School of Medicine in Jerusalem and specialized in emergency medicine at the University of Connecticut. He is the Director of the Emergency Department of Beilinson Hospital and Chairman of the Israeli Association of Emergency Medicine. He is also a Visiting Associate Professor at the Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles in emergency medicine and has lectured nationally and internationally on emergency neurology. -

Joseph Offenbacher, MD is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine and an Associate Program Director at the NYU/Bellevue Emergency Medicine Residency Program. He completed the ALLNYC Resident Fellowship in Medical Education Leadership and has also participated as a faculty member at the Harvard Macy Institute: Program for Post-Graduate Trainees-Future Academic Clinician Educators. Dr. Offenbacher has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading EM journals and his academic interests and research focus on the intersection between emergency medicine graduate medical education, decision making, and airway resuscitation. In Israel, he has participated as faculty in the Airway and Ventilator management workshops for the Israel Association of Emergency Medicine Annual Conference 2022. -
POCUS for Airway Management
Stephen Alerhand MD is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed both his Emergency Medicine Residency and Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Since then, he created the Emergency Ultrasound Division at Rutgers and serves as its Fellowship Director. Dr. Alerhand has been bestowed with local and national awards in ultrasound education, most recently the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine - Rising Star in Ultrasound Education Award. He has published 40+ peer-reviewed studies, reviews, and book chapters in emergency ultrasound as well as in critical care echocardiography, a subspecialty in which he is boarded by the National Board of Echocardiography. Dr. Alerhand also operates the US Probes section for the EMdocs.net FOAM website that receives up to 9,000 views per day. Nationally, Dr. Alerhand serves as Co-Chair of the American College of Emergency Physicians - Resident Ultrasound Education Committee. In Israel, he helped direct the Critical Care Ultrasound Workshop for the Israeli Association of Emergency Medicine annual conference in 2018 and 2019 -

Dr. Marvin Wayne Following graduation from medical school at the University of Michigan, Dr. Wayne received a fellowship at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London, England. After the fellowship, he had a surgical residency at the University of Colorado. This was followed by the United States Army and a trip to the People s Republic of Vietnam where he served as a combat surgeon. He achieved the rank of major and received a bronze star for valor for removing a live grenade from a soldier. Following the military, he completed a fellowship year in surgery in Seattle, Washington. He left the field of surgery to enter the evolving field of emergency medicine. He became the Medical Program Director for the emergency medical services system for Bellingham, Washington State and Whatcom County and has served in that capacity for the last 48 years. He was an attending in the Emergency Department at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Bellingham, WA. He is an Associate Clinical Professor, Dept. of Emergency Medicine, at the University of Washington. He pioneered post cardiac arrest therapeutic temperature management in a community hospital setting in 2006 . He has authored over 100 articles and peer reviewed papers in the field of Emergency Medicine and EMS. This includes papers in the Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Annals of Emergency Medicine, and Prehospital Emergency Care. -
