על שם חיים שיבא, תל השומר. אחרי סיום התמחות ברפואת פנימית
והתמחות על ברפואה דחופה, עבר בקינגסטון, קנדה, תת התמחות בהחייאה, וב2010 חזר לארץ. בנוסף לניהול המחלקה לרפואה דחופה הוא חלק מצוות של המרכז לסימולציה רפואית, אחראי על שלב ב ברפואה דחופה ב10 שנים האחרונות. יש לו עניין מיוחד בנושאים: החייאה, ניהול של החולה בספסיס ובמצבים קריטיים בחדר הלם.

Advances in Toxicology’ by Professor George Braitberg
Professor George Braitberg has been a practicing emergency physician and toxicologist for 35 years. He is currently Head of the Emergency Medicine Stream for the Centre for Critical Care Medicine at the University of Melbourne and Executive Director of Strategy, Quality and Improvement at Melbourne Health He is also a Fellow of the American College of Medical Toxicology, the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM), and the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators. He has a Masters in Bioethics and Health Services Management (Monash University) and is a member of the Victorian Clinical Council, a Board member of St Johns Ambulance (Victoria), and Medical Advisor to Ambulance Victoria. His research interests include toxicology, ethical decision making, health system redesign, and the management of acute emergencies. He has published over 70 peer reviewed papers and authored more than 20 book chapters. He was awarded the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine Service Award in 2018 and became a member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 2018 and an Officer of the Order of St John (OStJ) in 2019. He is a proud grandfather of 5+. -

Professor Sergey Motov Professor Motov is an Emergency Medicine Physician practicing in the Department of EmergencyMedicine at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York where he is the Research Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Chair of the Hospital Pain Management Committee, and Chair of the Institutional Review Board. Dr. Motov previously served as the Assistant Residency Director and Associate Research Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center where he has trained more than 200 residents. Dr. Motov has been very passionate about safe and effective pain management in the ED. His true interests are geared towards perfecting the role of non-opioid analgesia in the ED and more refined and judicious opioid use in the ED. He has published multiple peer-reviewed papers and has conducted multiple presentations on regional, national, and international levels about opioid alternatives for ED pain management. Dr. Motov has been active as a speaker for AAEM at Scientific Assembly as well as for multiple international conferences including MEMC where he has been serving as a Chair of the Pain Track. Dr. Motov is actively involved in growing this body of work both nationally and globally and currently serves as a co-Chair of the Pain and Procedural Sedation Interest Group at AAEM. -

Unrecognized Killers in Emergency Electrocardiography
Dr. Amal Mattu has had a passion for teaching and writing about emergency cardiology since he joined the faculty at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1996. He has authored or edited 20 textbooks in emergency medicine, including eight focused on emergency cardiology and electrocardiography. He has also served as primary Guest Editor for Cardiology Clinics three times. He lectures nationally and internationally on emergency cardiology topics and has helped to create multiple conferences focused on this area. He has received more than 20 teaching awards, largely for his work in emergency cardiology. Dr. Mattu is currently a tenured Professor, Vice Chair of Academic Affairs, and Co- Director of the Emergency Cardiology Fellowship for the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
